His name is Tony and he is only 5 years old. His story is unfortunate and cruel but that is now definitely changing course. Thanks to the strength of this child, who learned to walk on prostheses, it was possible to collect £ 1 million to donate to the Lambeth Children’s Hospital (London).

The Miyawaki Method: Tiny But Dense Urban Forests Are Cropping Up All Over Europe

Over the last few years, tiny but dense forests have been springing up all over Europe as part of a movement aimed at restoring biodiversity and fighting the climate crisis. The chosen method was invented by Japan’s most famous botanist, Akira Miyawaki.
The Miyawaki method  involves exploiting small urban spaces to create tiny yet productive forests which are as
rich in biodiversity as larger wild areas would be. These tiny forests are grown in places such as school courtyards, street-side public spaces or private gardens.

The Oldest And Largest Mayan Structure Known So Far Has Been Discovered

Walking in Aguada Fénix in Tabasco, Mexico is like walking on sandy paths surrounded by dense nature. It’s impossible to suspect that something great might be hiding underneath it all, but a team of scientists from the University of Arizona has identified and unearthed a man-made Mayan platform spanning 563,000 square meters (6060081 square feet!). It is the largest and oldest Mayan structure discovered so far, marking the transition from an itinerant lifestyle to a more sedentary one starting from 950 BC.
